Datafisher LMS Feature update – June 2025

We’re pleased to introduce several new features and enhancements to your Datafisher LMS. These improvements are designed to simplify administration, improve communication, and provide managers with more tools to support their teams.

What’s New?

1. User Interface for Visitor Location Management

A new interface is now available for managing registration page locations or contents in the visitor training module:
• Add, edit, and name locations easily
• Link content and messages to specific locations for improved visitor flow and communication

2. Managers Can Manage Team Members’ Enrolments

Managers now have full control over their team’s training enrolments:
• Enrol, cancel, or modify their employees’ registrations
• No separate approval needed for manager-initiated enrolments
• Managers can also receive reminders about their employees’ upcoming mandatory training (e.g., “Safety Induction”), allowing proactive planning and support

  • Note: This is an additional feature. Normally, users continue to enrol themselves as before.

3. Better Course Expiration and Attention Management

We’ve improved how the platform handles expiring trainings:
• Upcoming expirations now appear in the “Needing Attention” section for both users and managers
• Expiration timing logic is now configurable (e.g., “Expiring in X days”)

4. Feedback Email Timing Improvements

To increase feedback response rates:
• Feedback emails are now sent 3 hours after course completion or event end
• Follow-up reminders go out 3 days after the initial email
• Logic respects participant status and enrollment settings

5. Learning Path Adjustments

When new modules are added to an existing learning path:

  • The administrators can expire existing learning path sessions to require completing the newly added modules (already completed modules do not have to be completed again).

6. Manual Completions by Managers

Company Admins and Managers can now:
• Mark selected trainings as manually completed for users
• This applies only to trainings explicitly marked as eligible for manual completion by managers

7. Participant-Specific Training Scopes in Shared Events

For events where participants follow different training scopes simultaneously:

  • Managers and admins can now define user-specific training scopes within the same event.
  • Enhances compliance tracking and clarity on training scopes
  • These scopes are included in reporting and shown on user-specific certificates
